I am very excited about this weekend. My mom and grandmother are coming up to visit Miss Priss and they have been saving up their coupons to go shopping!! LOL My grandmother is especially excited to learn how to coupon, as she lives in Greenville and they have a CVS and Walgreens, so she wants to learn how to get all these freebies I talk about!! And my mom is just as excited, although she lives where most of you live and have NONE of the "good" stores to shop at, BUT I always tell her, she can STILL save lots and lots of money with the stores she has!! It just takes some patience and time to learn! So, we will be having fun this weekend going to get all kinds of goodies for FREE (or at least very cheap)!! And, yes, you can all laugh at me for getting excited about going couponing, BUT I am laughing all the way to the bank!! :) The last 2 months, my grocery bill has been cut in HALF at least AND I basically never pay more than $0.50 for ANY sort of toiletry item. So, I can live with that!!
BTW, I just have to tell you about my Publix shopping trip last night, it was GREAT!! Here is what I got....
10 - Assorted Pillsbury canned biscuits (Grands, crescents and BIG Cinnabon ones)= $0.30 EACH
2 - Land O Lakes Butter (medium tubs) = $0.07 EACH
2 - Betty Crocker Fruit Roll up boxes = $0.40 EACH
2 - Farm Rich French Toast sticks = $0.90 EACH Box
2 - boxes Aleve = FREE
2 - boxes Frosted mini wheats = $1.09 EACH
2 - boxes Pillsbury Moist Cake Mix (reduced sugar, to make up for all the other junk, right?!) = $0.05 EACH box
Spent $8.76........Saved $64.54, That's 88% savings!!! Great buys, right?!! :)

You are just killing me with this coupon stuff...I still haven't sat down to figure it all out, but get more anxious to d just that each time you post about you saving all that $$$!!! Hope y'all have fun this weekend:)
Well, I have started the coupon thing and have saved SOME money, but we either don't have the stores for that or I'm not doing it right b/c I don't ever save that much. Maybe I'm not buying enough of everything cause I just get one of each. Who knows?!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY AND A BIG HUGE RIGHT BACK AT EMMIE! I went to Publix also and got the aleve, cake mix, and french toast too. I also got two bottles of the herbal essence for .50 total and two bottles of glass plus for .75 cents. It is hard when you have two kids moving your coupons and talking to you! Hopefully I can get better, and I love shopping at publix. I also got free revlon makeup at Walgreens! I found another coupon site that is kinda neat it is called a cup full.com. Check it out and you may also like it.
I meant hug and I also meant to say with that website they have a coupons list that goes along with publix sale ad.

I can't really motivate myself to get into the coupons. It seems like so much work! I always read what you saved, and I get excited! I REALLY want to get involved! PLEASE e-mail me,(carriedfore@yahoo.com) and explain it like "Coupon-clipping for Dummies." Hey, if that is not written yet, you so should write that. You could make a fortune! BTW, I will tell you again, your daughter is GORGEOUS!
