Happy Friday!!

Hey everyone!! Just wanted to put a quick update on Emmie and myself. I had to go to my H.R. Doctor yesterday and surprise, surprise, another dosage was added!! That brings the grand total to......18 pills a day!! Anyway, he says that as long as Emmie is growing and I don't start showing any signs of preeclampsia, that they will just continue to add more dosages until the delivery, if necessary. I am almost maxed out on this second medicine, which means next time they will have to add a third kind of medicine, but he continues to reassure me it is fine for Emmie and does not affect her at all. Which, of course, I still worry about her!! But, I'm not complaining, I just have to keep praying and trusting that God is watching both of us and it will be okay. I will start my twice weekly tests in 2.5 weeks, which will really be a great way they start watching Emmie and making sure she is okay with everything!! I know she will be, as she is already stubborn and headstrong, just like her momma :) She already doesn't like when I mess with her and "interrupt" her play sessions by putting my hand on my belly! As soon as I touch where she is kicking, she stops as long as my hand stays there, and I swear, as soon as I take my hand off, she starts right back up again!! She is already a mess!! Doesn't surprise me, I'm sure it won't surprise any of you either!! LOL Well, I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

I don't really know a whole lot about blood pressure issues, but all of this sounds like a lot to me!! Dr. Burgess says you should slow down and relax as much as possible. Tell Paul to be extra nice to you and do whatever you say as to not cause you any unneeded stress!! Prop your feet up and let him wait on you. Emmie and Paul need you too much for you not to take care of yourself!! Are you still walking the ever how many blocks to work? You should have someone drop you off at the front door!

On a sweeter note - the best thing about being pregnant to me was feeling them move. I always felt like it was our little secret because no one else knew unless I told them. I miss that...maybe I should start working on Matt for a third:)

Feeling Caroline move around is one of the things I really missed once she got here - it was so comforting to know she was okay and accounted for while in my belly:) Take care of yourself and relax while you can!

My goodness! That's a lot of medicine for anybody! Definitely try to relax. Before long you'll be going non-stop! I looked forward to feeling John Luke move and when he started moving it was kinda like a relief.

Bless your heart!!! That is a lot of medicine to take!!!! However, I know that you are thankful that God has given doctors the wisdom to help their patients under certain circumstances. I am SURE that Emmie will be born very healthy!! I just want YOU to take care of yourself. I totally agree with Christy. Paul and Emmie need you too much not to not take care of yourself. And yes, it is so special when you start to feel your little one having a field day in your stomach!! Stay off your feet as much as possible and you don't need to walk to work Addie Michelle Dubose Hunter!!!!!!!!!
